Dulce De Leche Cafe

Stopped in here for some cuban coffees, and they were so delicious we came back for lunch. I had the spicy steak, I forget the actual name of the dish but it was skirt steak with spicy salsa and onions on top with Mexican rice and black beans, my friend had the chicken fajitas and my dad had carnitas tacos. Everything was amazing and the portions are huge. You have several options to choose from, Puerto Rican dishes and plates , as well as Cuban and Mexican dishes and plates. Some dishes are served with fried plantains, and some with rice and beans. It's a small restaurant, but it feels like home. We were not disappointed and will be back!

First time here having just moved to Flagler Beach. This is an excellent Cuban restaurant!I had a Cuban breakfast with Cuban coffee and it was perfect. Great atmosphere, right across from beach with great views, super friendly people and owner, very clean and prices good. We’re very lucky to have these great family run businesses here in town. A big thanks!

Do yourself a favor and order the beef picadillos! I was craving Cuban food and came across this place. I had the picadillos, hubby had empanadas. The food has so much flavor! The service is super nice and the place was right across from the ocean with a great view! We will be back and there are loads of items I need to try!

Excellent place for Cuban coffee and authentic "Mexican" food! Everything we had was delicious and portion sizes are huge, two meals for the price of one with leftovers! And the prices are more than reasonable! The owner is very friendly and kind, willing to answer all questions! It's a small café, don't plan to eat thete with a large group, but you can always get it to go. Give it a try!!

WOWIE ZOWIE.... I was impressed with the CUBAN SANDWICH...my 1st in Florida. I thought $13 was kinda high but the sandwich was tasty & GIGANTIC....I could only eat half. Lots of meat, cheese & pickles. I dripped some hot sauce on that baby....OLE ! Go here and enjoy a great CUBAN SANDWICH.. The interior is funky but funky is cool. Nice Key West latino owner...

This is a Mexican, cuban and Puerto Rican place which excels in every category. Given the overwhelming amount of shitty, overpriced tourist traps around here this place offers huge serving sizes, low prices and exceptional legit quality. Was skeptical about all the different categories excelling at the same time but they do. Best mofongo I've had! Great salsas and tacos (you know it's legit when they have lengua on the menu!) with legit Mexican flavors. People are super friendly. Don't let the shabby outside appearance turn you off - in places like this its a sign of authentic quality. Specials were 5-7 tacos for $12-14, an insane value nowadays and much different than the white washed ripoffs you will experience down the beach.

I’ve been here multiple times now and have yet to be disappointed. Food is delicious! I grew up in the Keys, eating authentic Cuban food on a regular basis and this place is the real deal! I’ve always gotten the Cuban sandwich (huge and flavorful), but decided to try the ropa vieja for lunch today. So good!!!

Our new favorite spot! Having moved here from MI 11 months ago we haven’t found many “authentic” Mexican restaurants close to Palm Coast. A lot of Portugese but not Hispanic per se. This place is a gem! I first came here for the Cafe Cubano, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Having come from a Hispanic church in MI I know what it should taste like and it was right on point. I came back a couple days later with my family. I had the Cuban Sandwich and my wife had the Birria tacos. The portions were HUGE and the price was spot on. We met Paco who is a wonderful man that works there, super friendly and he brought our food out to us and we sat right across from the ocean while enjoying the amazing flavors. We are now going to be going back at least once a week. If you’re in Flagler don’t miss out on this hidden treasure!
